I'm a nightclub DJ in the San Francisco Bay Area of northern California. I enjoy playing a variety of musical styles; House, Hip Hop, Trance, Reggaeton, Dancehall, 70's, 80's, Disco, Rock, and R&B. My first work experience in nightclubs came during college in 1984 at Boston's "Metro" where I operated the lighting, laser, and special effects. After moving to California, I began spinning records at the Woods Resort on the Russian River in 1989. For the next 10 years I played at area nightclubs including Club Ziggurat, The Daily Planet, and the Bunkhouse at Fife's Resort. With the opening of Club Fab in 1999 I had the opportunity to meet and perform with many nationally known DJ's and learn from their various approaches and styles. I've had the pleasure of performing at San Francisco clubs such as Page Hodel's "Spirit" (1015 Folsom), Gus Bean's "Palladium" (525 Harrison), and Divas Nightclub. Most recently I was a resident at Seven Ultra Lounge in Santa Rosa. (2006–2009) I have had the great honor to perform with some of San Francisco's best DJ's including Page Hodel, Jamie J. Sanchez, Dave Matthias, Matt Consola, Olga Texidor, David Harness, Anita Lofton, Phil B., Frank Abraham, Blackstone, and Miss DJ MoniKa. One of the greatest influences has been my friend Hosh, whose love for dance music got me interested & involved in nightclubs, dance music and DJ culture in 1981. I'll be posting both new mixes here as well as a sampling of some favorites from over the years.
